In September 2016 major works were set in motion to build Kanisa's greatest temple yet. The temple, in honor of our leader Wali Taqi, was set to be the biggest addition to our skyline yet.
We are therefore very excited to announce that the temple will be opening its doors on the 12th of February 2022.

But the story of our temple begins 5 years prior. In September 2016, according to an ancient tradition 10 litres of the Holy Water of Kanisa were mixed with the cement of the first pit to be excavated.
Our contractors started digging and so they began the historic process of creating our country's first purpose-built temple.
This step marked the beginning of phase one, which involves the creation of the foundation, together with much of the fundamental infrastructure.
Once this stage was completed, our team got to work on phase two, involving the construction of the shell and roof.

And finally in 2021 the final phase was completed. Furnishing the many chambers and halls of the great temple.
The temple has over 120 rooms and already holds the record for being the single largest construction in all of Kanisa.
It also holds the country's largest library, and it is set to become a pilar of knowledge for the people of Kanisa
THE GRAND OPENING
The grand opening will be taking place on the 12th of February 2022. When the temple will open its doors to the masses.
There will be an opening ceremony where our great leader wali taqi will also be making a speech towards the public. This will be taking place in the central square of the temple and will start at 12 o'clock in the afternoon.

Muqadas’ new swimming pool complex has a name: Fata Morgana
FATA MORGANA, THE NEW SWIMMING POOL COMPLEX IN KANISA, WILL BE OPENING ITS DOORS IN JANUARY 2022.
The new swimming pool complex in Muqadas will be opening its doors in January 2022 under the name 'Fata Morgana'. Fata Morgana should appeal to the imagination and it's attractive to both a young and an older audience. Fata Morgana sounds like the place to be, and it is. With its catchy name, we are hoping to attract water fanatics from all over the country. We want to create an atmosphere suitable for fun and relaxation as well as excitement and competition
Wali Taqi
Both Wali Taqi and his father Nasab Wali, played a major role in the history of the former pool here in Muqadas. Therefore, a lasting tribute is appropriate here. The inauguration sign of the new swimming pool will be placed next to the old inauguration sign. In addition, the 25x35-metre pool will be named after Wali Taqi and the 50-metre pool will bear the name of his father, Nasab Taqi.
Phase 1 and phase 2
On the third of January 2022, the swimming complex (phase 1) will open its doors to clubs and schools. The general public will be able to dive into the brand new pool from the 29th of January 2022. On the 23th and/or 24th of January 2022, the public can already make a first acquaintance with phase 1 of the swimming pool complex during the open days. Phase 1 includes a 50-metre pool, a 25x35-metre pool, etc., where we respond to the needs and requirements of the sporty swimmer. Phase 2, which is scheduled to open at the end of 2022, is aimed more at families with young children and will consist of an extensive fun area with numerous slides and paddling pools.

What is Gamaca?
Gamaca is an amusement park full of warmth and fun. It was during the winter of 2000 that the doors of the Gamaca amusement park first opened to the public. Back then, it was only open for 21 days spread across the 2 coldest months of the year. But now Gamaca has grown to include 13 consecutive weeks of winter fun. Enjoy the winter atmosphere at various locations in the park, treat yourself to a winter delicacy or drink at the atmospheric Warm Winter Meadow. In addition, there are all kinds of nice snowy souvenirs available for the holidays.
What is open?
The outdoor roller coasters are open as long as the weather permits. All indoor attractions are open. Please note that attractions may be under maintenance. Check the current information on the Gamaca app to see which attractions are open on the day of your visit. This way you can be sure that you can visit your favourite attraction(s)!
How fun is Gamaca?
The festive garlands, bonfires, crackling pot-bellied stoves and thousands of twinkling lights will create an enchanting atmosphere in the park this winter. As in previous years, attractions are beautifully lit after sunset, Wali Taqi Square looks wintery and each day ends with a spectacular fireworks show. When you have been outside in the cold or in an outdoor attraction, you can warm yourself up in one of our restaurants or on the cosy Warm Meadow.
How long does Gamaca last?
This year is the 23rd edition of Gamaca. You can visit Gamaca from the 15th of November 2021 to the 6th of February 2022. So you have 13 weeks to enjoy it! A reservation is required for a visit.
Gamaca opening hours
This winter Gamaca will be open from 10 in the morning until 5 in the evening on weekdays. And from 9 in the morning until 7 in the evening on weekends. By closing time, the amusement park must be completely cleared and some attractions
therefore close their doors as early as 4.30pm.
